Petra Jung is an ecosystem innovation architect. She specialises in the development of offerings for ecosystem and platform participants.

Petra has acquired a unique experience in the design and scaling of platform-based value propositions at Visa, PayPal and eBay where she held senior roles. She started her career at PalmOS where she helped build a unique ecosystem of developers for what was a precursor to the iPhone. In all these roles, Petra worked with and led multidisciplinary teams focused on crafting unique and innovative value propositions. She has deep experience in gathering and analysing relevant quantitative and qualitative data to generate unique ecosystem insights and align corresponding governance principles. She has a knack for understanding the ecosystem participant needs and translating them into relevant offerings.

Petra has worked across many sectors including retail and e-commerce (eBay), telecoms (Vodafone), fintech (PayPal, Visa, Dozens and HSBC), energy (innogy) and health (Halma) and for both start-ups and established corporations. The common denominator spanning this wide field is customer centricity, ecosystem governance and platform synergies.

Operating at the nexus of innovation ecosystems, Petra helps both start-ups and established firms operate as agile organisations and innovate to scale winning solutions.

Petra holds an MSc from Heidelberg University in Geography, Political Science and Anthropology.
